Tickets: Important!
There will be NO tickets. It’s a free, general admission event. There is limited seating at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center. Fire codes are very strict and we must obey the rules and restrictions. This is a “first come, first served” situation. We will have “head-counters” at the entrance and when 350 come through the door, that’s it. Given the challenges of the indoor seating restrictions, we actually explored the possibility of holding this event outside, on the grounds of BPACC but it wasn’t possible. (Permits needed) We realize that this is not an ideal way to hold an event but please understand our challenges. Doors will open at 6pm.

Now is the time to Stand and Restore Courage.
We ask those of you who value freedom, honor and faith to stand with Glenn Beck and leaders from around the world with one united voice.
“Restoring Courage” is an opportunity to demonstrate to the world that Israel does not stand alone. Unite with people from around the world from all walks of life in standing with Israel, reminding us of the need to have faith, honor and courage in our own lives.

Please join Bethany and me Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 at 7pm, at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center for Restoring Courage! We will present on screen, Glenn Beck’s Restoring Courage from Jerusalem. We will not only watch the Restoring Courage event, but we will join together and praise God with contemporary worship music.
Yes, you could watch this from your home (assuming that you’re a subscriber to GBTV.com), but this is an event you will want to view with others. You will witness people from different faiths coming together to pledge their commitment to God’s peace and love. In this increasingly confusing world, we have to know which lens we are viewing our world through. Only through the lens of our loving, peaceful God will we make the right choices, the hard choices. We must be able to recognize what is “of God” even when it challenges our own political and social biases. Join us August 24th, and Restore Courage!

Thousands of people from around the world will be holding watch gatherings as well. Glenn’s live event will have taken place in Jerusalem, the morning of Aug. 24.
We will close the night with prayer and a final song or two.

A message to skeptics
We realize there are plenty of “anti-Glenn Beck” folks out there! If this is you, please consider this. Restoring Courage is not an “anti-anything” movement. This is a PRO-God, PRO-Love, PRO-Peace gathering, open to anyone willing to give respect and support to those seeking to live in peace. Throughout recorded history Israel has been the target of hate and there is no shortage of people calling for their extinction today. Whoever the target, of this kind of persecution, as people of faith, we cannot sit by and remain silent any longer. Who would stand with those of us who are Christians, if this kind of hate were directed at us? Hopefully everyone claiming to serve the one true and loving God would stand. So, please refrain from sending us any nasty emails, it won’t accomplish anything. If you know Bethany and me personally, you know that we’re seeking a deeper relationship with God just as so many of you are. We may differ in our choices but the point is to never cease in pursuing Him. So, if you’re not interested, simply delete the invitation. But, I do challenge you to consider joining us for what is going to truly be a “tolerant” and “inclusive” historic moment, taking place on what is know to many religions as the Holiest of ground, Jerusalem.
